Introduction:The company belongs to a group of smaller, but stable and secure insurance companies, and has a considerable tradition of doing business on the insurance market of Serbia that is longer than four decades. During many decades in operation, the company acquired the reputation of a reliable joint-stock insurance company, with its aims and priorities primarily pertaining to good quality service, mutual trust and satisfaction of the insurees. The company is a member of the Sava Re group, which employs more than 1300 employees throughout various insurance companies operating on the territory of the former Yugoslavia. The founder of Sava Re group is the reinsurance company Sava Re headquartered in Ljubljana, which also owns this company. Sava Re company cooperates with more than 200 client-companies situated in more than 40 different countries of the world.

The company offers numerous property insurance packages, thus providing the insurees - both the natural persons and legal entities, with the safety and economic protection from hazards and economic disruptions that occur in cases when the risk has been realized, meaning when the insured event has occurred.

Friendly approach towards clients and insurees nurtured and applied through our image and the manner of doing business, as well as the company's motto "Just in case" [in Serbian, "Za svaki slučaj"], indicate that the company is a friend who will always be there for you.

Services: At this moment in time, the company has branches offices in all bigger cities in Serbia. The branch offices are situated inNovi Pazar, Čačak, Valjevo, Subotica, Novi Sad, Kragujevac, Niš, Jagodina, Vranje, Prijepolje, Užice, Kruševac, Leskovac, Kikinda, Kraljevo, Šabac, Vršac, Belgrade and Senta. Beside the branch offices, the company has service counters in: Vladičin Han, Preševo, Gornji Milanovac, Topola, Aranđelovac and Ub. 

Technical reserves are at a very low level, hence contributing to a secure and complete handling of insurance claims for all types of insurance that the company deals in. Warranty reserves are above share capital levels, which is also a confirmation of the company's business operations stability and security.

The company settles its liabilities regarding liquidation and insurance claim payments in a fast and efficient manner. When it comes to the damage assessment and liquidation, we take on a proactive approach, as we wish to fulfil our obligations towards the client stemming from the insurance claim as soon as possible. For the aforementioned reasons, the assessment and liquidation are performed in one place, while our clients have our support in collecting and delivering the necessary documentation.

1. What are the core values of Sava osiguranje a.d.o. Beograd business philosophy?

The company has been growing year after year - the number of insurees has increased, the number of employees as well, the technical reserves have increased, we are opening new branch officers on the Serbian market, etc. Generally speaking, we are growing and developing as a company in accordance with our shareholders' decisions and defined standards, while at the same time adhering to the maxim of the group: "We do not want to be the biggest, we want to be the best".

Today, the company has more than 400 employees and provides services in Belgrade and in 25 business branches in the cities throughout Serbia. The company is a member of the Sava Re group, an insurance group that consists of 10 insurance companies operating on the territory of the former Yugoslavia and is the second biggest in Western Balkans.

The long-term goals of the group are primarily related to the strengthening of the position of its member insurance companies on the insurance market of Slovenia and the region, as well as to the continuation of integration of all functions within the Sava Re group members.

2. How do you perceive Sava Osiguranje a.d.o. Beograd strategy for further growth on this market?

The companies tries to provide to its insurees all the necessary and important information related to our products and their advantages, as well as to the importance of insurance as such. We try to explain to our insurees in a very precise manner what they had insured and what types of insurance coverage we offer. The entire sales network, as well as all of the company's employees, are involved in these tasks, because our basic principles are that the client comes first and that we all need to be of service to our clients.

First and foremost, we try to establish a partner-like relationship with our clients by providing quality service and being flexible in our approach to their requests related to various insurance coverage needs. With regards to damage liquidation, which is the last phase of the insurance service provision process, we try to be proactive. Having new and improved insurance products helps us find new insurees and fight strong market competitors.

The priorities of the company are quality service, mutual trust and the satisfaction of insurees.

Our mission: Provide quality insurance services to insurees, be partners with the clients we serve, reward our shareholders, and give back to our immediate surroundings and the community.

Our vision: Built an insurance company that is recognized on the market by its provision of insurance services of the highest quality.

3. What is in your view the role of FIC and what are your expectations?

The Council has a very important role to play in promoting the Serbian market with the assistance of its members and their vast international experience, as well as in encouraging new investors to invest here with the help of the authorities of the Republic of Serbia. We expect for the positive trend of foreign investments to continue, and hope that FIC, in cooperation with its members and the Government of the Republic of Serbia, will contribute to the harmonization of local legislation with European regulations and standards.
