The leading portal on sustainable energy and green economy in Southeast Europe, Balkan Green Energy News, with the institutional support of the Foreign Investors Council (FIC), is organizing the BELGRADE ENERGY FORUM 2024 (BEF 2024)

The success of the Belgrade Energy Forum 2023, which gathered more than 400 participants from 28 countries, three ministries of energy from the Southeast Europe region, and 60 speakers, the leading in energy transition from the region and Europe, generated a huge interest for the next conference.

BEF 2024 event platform will connect, and in partnership with the Balkan Green Energy News portal, present and promote decision makers, directors of power utilities, leading investors, financial institutions, power traders, consultancies and law offices, technology providers, companies for innovative services and digital solutions, think-tanks, and businesses increasingly active in the electricity market.
The conference program includes an opening ceremony, 8 panel discussions, on-stage interviews, and presentations. An exhibition area with stands is also organized, and on the first day evening, participants will enjoy a party at a club in Belgrade.
The conference will address the most current topics in the energy sector in the Southeast European region: the impact of geopolitical events on the energy sector, the strategies of countries from the Region for energy transition and power decarbonization. Panelists will also discuss technologies that the region can rely on by 2050, the electricity market, the development of transmission and distribution systems, electricity storage, renewable energy projects development, as well as industrial decarbonization, the introduction of CBAM and carbon taxes, and good practice examples regarding ESG strategies.
