On September 16, FIC supported the initiative of the Association of Leasing Companies in Serbia (ALCS) with the goal to establish a Registry of Operative Leasing in the Business Register Agency (BRA) and enable the efficient enforcement in the case the leasing contract is cancelled. This comes after the recent decision of the National Bank of Serbia which regulated operative leasing, which was advocated by FIC for a long time. By establishing a registry, its excerpt could serve as an executive document. This would enable the efficient procedure for returning the leasing object in case of the termination of contract.
