On February 12, FIC sent to the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications the comments on Draft Law on Electronic Documents, E-Identifications and Trust Service in E-Business. General comments concern rationalization of process and insurance contracts. When it comes to the rationalization of process, FIC view is that the processes of identification and authentication of individuals and legal entities, as well as exchange of e-documents, should be adapted to the needs and interests of both legal entities and individuals, especially to exclude the unneeded additional procedure for the banks’ clients. Regarding the insurance agreement, the main proposal is to enable the biometric signature of the offer in the electronic form. FIC welcomed the new Draft Law for the improvements it brings.
