Fourth and last FIC cocktail in 2019 was held on December 17 at the Home of Jevrema Grujica museum.

Around 80 member representatives took the opportunity to meet at the event sponsored by Raiffeisen bank. They were greeted by FIC President Yana Mikhailova, Raiffeisen bank CEO Zoran Petrovic and FIC Executive Director Aleksandar Ljubic. FIC President thanked Raiffeisen bank for hosting the event at a very interesting and special place. She outlined the importance of cocktails as informal events in addition to the meetings on business occasions. “That’s how we learn what’s going on at Serbian markets, what’s going on with our businesses, that’s where we meet people, and that’s where we build trust”, Yana Mikhailova said. After being reintroduced in 2019, cocktails remain on FIC agenda for 2020, she said, inviting members interested to host the events to contact Executive Office. She thanked members for trust showed in electing the new Board that she described as diverse in terms of industries and the past engagement in FIC, but aligned behind the common values including business ethics, sustainable development of the business, and long term commitment to Serbian market. FIC President reminded that the year was very intense until the very end, and that the achievements measured by the improvement on FIC scorecard is better than ever. Yana Mikhailova also mentioned that FIC is becoming more active in communication with wide audience through media, but also with members via newsletter and LinkedIn account. The changes will continue, especially having in mind that the new team always brings new ideas and acceleration, she said. Yana Mikhailova thanked members for being active within the committees and executive team for the support whole year long.

Raiffeisen bank CEO Zoran Petrovic, who was elected at the FIC BoD on the Assembly in December, held brief presentation “Raiffeisen world of digital services”. He said that the bank is very innovative, with one of the features being the best mobile application on the market according to the data from Google store among the peer banks. Raiffeisen CEO presented three main innovations the bank brought on Serbian market: first chatbot in the country, online lending to new customers, and multifunctional devices. As he said, first chatbot in Serbia is available through Viber and Facebook messenger and is a very good example of usage of artificial intelligence. “We already have more than 100,000 customers on it, and so far, slightly less than 500,000 communications with the chatbot”, Raiffeisen CEO said. When it comes to the online lending, he said that the promise is to deliver the loan in about 30 minutes. Multifunctional devices allow customers to save time by doing all kinds of operations. Zoran Petrovic praised FIC for being a “stronghold of excellent companies working in Serbia”, and doing a good job for the benefit of members and overall economy. Members were invited to enjoy their time at the cocktail and were offered the possibility of assistance if interested to take a tour at the museum.
