On February 6, FIC held a fruitful meeting with representatives od the Competition Protection Commission.

FIC welcomed readiness of the Commission to meet and expressed willingness to continue long-term cooperation. It was conveyed that cooperation within the Working Group on Law amendments has been very fruitful, open and constructive, as the WG has been open to hear the position of the business. It was also noted that more than 60% of FIC positions were accepted in the latest version of the Draft and FIC highlighted that it is open for any kind of future cooperation, discussion, education, work on by-laws, etc. From their side, the Commission praised the great cooperation with FIC since the establishment of the Commission and conveyed that FIC’s participation in the WG on Draft Law was recognized as the most productive and that therefore the Commission is very grateful for FIC contribution. FIC will be invited to continue its work in WG, as well as to provide comments on by-laws. Beside the President of the Commission Nebojša Perić, at the meeting participated Council members Čedomir Radojčić, Miroslava Đošić, Danijela Bokan and dr Siniša Milošević. Beside FIC Executive Director Aleksandar Ljubić and Regulatory Officer Jelena Lazarević, at the meeting participated FIC Legal Committee President Igor Živkovski and FIC member in the WG on Draft Competition Protection Law Bojan Vučković.
