FIC & Rio Tinto Open the Networking Cocktail Season at Kopaonik

FIC Serbia and our distinguished member Rio Tinto organized the first FIC networking cocktail this year! For the first time, the cocktail party was organized during the Kopaonik Business Forum on our most famous mountain, Kopaonik, at the Gorski Hotel, designed to bring its guests closer to nature and everything primordial in us. Initially, the guests were greeted by FIC Serbia Vice President and CEO A1 Slovenia & A1 Serbia, Mr. Dejan Turk, who thanked Rio Tinto for its partnership and hospitality. Mr. Turk reminded the attendees that FIC Serbia’s mission is 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆, 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒃𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒆𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒏 𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒖𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒗𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔! Representing Rio Tinto, Mrs. Marijanti Babić, CEO, addressed the esteemed guests-leading members of the business community of Serbia, experts, and academics. She underscored the significance of the cocktail as a platform to introduce the ‘Jadar’ project to the business community attending the KBF. This project, she emphasized, is committed to the highest environmental protection standards and plays a crucial role in advancing modern mining practices to find better ways to provide the materials the world needs. The guests had the opportunity to watch a promotional film about the project, followed by a unique virtual reality experience that allowed them to immerse themselves in the future of mining. After a short speeches, the FIC members, friends, and partners had the pleasure of networking in an informal atmosphere while enjoying the inspiring music and numerous delicacies.
