FIC Serbia, in partnership with our esteemed member Rio Tinto, launched this year’s networking season with an exclusive cocktail event! For the second time, the gathering took place during the Kopaonik Business Forum, set amidst the stunning scenery of Serbia’s most renowned mountain. The event took place at Gorski Hotel, a venue designed to harmonize with nature and evoke a sense of authenticity, offering a unique setting for meaningful connections. The evening began with a welcome address by FIC Serbia Executive Director Aleksandar Ljubić, who thanked Rio Tinto for their collaboration and hospitality. He reiterated FIC Serbia’s core mission: actively fostering a predictable, competitive, and sustainable business and investment environment through open dialogue with authorities and key stakeholders. On behalf of Rio Tinto, CEO Mrs. Marijanti Babić addressed the distinguished guests—leading figures from Serbia’s business community, industry experts, and academics. Emphasizing Rio Tinto’s unwavering commitment to the highest environmental standards, she underscored the project’s role in advancing modern mining practices to responsibly provide essential materials for the future. Guests were given an exclusive look at a promotional film showcasing the project and company activities. Following the formal addresses, FIC members, partners, and friends engaged in dynamic networking in an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by music and an exquisite selection of gourmet delicacies.
