FIC members had the opportunity to gain fresh information on the recent amendments of legislation in the VAT field at the online FIC Insight event held on March 5. Changes of the VAT rules were presented by the author of the FIC White Book text on VAT Igor Soldatović, Senior Manager at KPMG, and Tax Committee member Jelena Knežević, Partner at LeitnerLeitner. They provided review of the latest amendments to the Value Added Tax Law, in particular whether the changes removed existing or created new dilemmas in the application of regulations. Overview was given of the latest amendments to the Rulebook Set in the Value Added Tax field, with focus on the most significant innovations and potential problems in implementation. FIC members that attended the event had an opportunity to engage in discussion, as well.  FIC Insight is launched in 2020 as a support to FIC members for better understanding and implementation of new legislation.
