We hereby wish to inform you that the FIC Executive Director Aleksandar Ljubic was named as the member of the Government’s Council for Encouraging the Development of the Digital Economy, Innovation, High-Tech Entrepreneurship and Digitalization. The mission of the Council is to consider issues and make proposals necessary for a significant and systematic increase in exports in the field of digital economy, high-tech products and services and innovative entrepreneurship, increase gross domestic product (GDP) in these areas, increase professional staff, improve infrastructure for business, improving the application of high technologies and increasing total employment through the development of innovative entrepreneurship, including retraining and other measures. The President of the newly established Council is Serbian PM Ana Brnabic, while Council Vice President is the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Tatjana Matic. Other Council members include among others: Finance Minister, Education Minister, Economy Minister, Agriculture Minister, NBS Governor, Public Policy Secretariat Director, Cadastre Director, NALED and DSI.
