FIC was invited to participate in the Government’s Coordination body for digitalization of the Serbian health system and delegated Pharma Industry Committee President and Vice President as representatives. The invitation to take part in the Coordination Body that was about to be established was sent to FIC by a Digital Health Advisor in the Office of Prime Minister Dejan Kovacevic on December 10. It was explained that the Body will include the representatives of all the institutions and bodies in charge of health, digitalization, e-government, programming and management of finances, as well as representatives of business associations and chambers. The role of the body will be to provide proposals and review the issues related to the digitalization of the health system in Serbia. More concretely, the tasks will be: coordination of drafting of the health digitalization programme with the action plan; creation of regulatory conditions for systemic development and improvement of health system through digitalization and implementation of technological solutions; proposals and coordination of prioritization of projects in the area of digitalization of health; coordination and monitoring of implementation of priority measures. FIC responded on the same day, delegating Pharma Industry President Radomir Cerovic and Vice President Semir Attar.
