FIC had the opportunity to take part in the consultations on the priority areas for the World Bank assistance to Serbia in the upcoming 5 years, held on May 13. At the meeting on the World Bank Country Partnership Framework for 2022 to 2026, FIC was represented by the Co-President of the Anti-Illicit Trade & Food Committee Dragana Stikic and Regulatory Officers Jelena Lazarevic and Tanja Jovanovic. Meeting focused on the most pressing challenges in various areas such as: policy reforms; development of sustainable infrastructure and agriculture; advancing education; innovation and science; upgrading its health system; or rethinking the future of work as economies globally increasingly go digital and as Serbia positions itself for a recovery from COVID-19 impacts and accelerating growth. Consultations were held with a wide range of stakeholders, including authorities, businesses, civil society and NGO, international development institutions, diplomatic community and academia.
