Experienced banker with a long-standing track record at senior executive positions.

Extensive professional knowledge and expertise in international business, backed with strong managerial and leadership skills and proven business results.

Mr. Petrović started his career at the Economics Institute in Belgrade. In 1992 he joined Jugobanka, where he spent four years in Corporate and five years in Treasury Division, having gained comprehensive knowledge and experience in the banking industry.

He joined Raiffeisen Bank, Serbia in 2001 and after a job rotation program in RZB, Vienna, he became Head of Treasury and Investment Banking. In 2005 he was appointed Member of the Managing Board. Together with his team he established the first mutual asset management company, voluntary pension fund company, as well as first Custody operations in Serbia. In August 2013 Mr. Petrović was appointed Chairman of the Managing Board. In 2016 he assumed CFO function. In his Board area, Mr. Petrovic is responsible for ALM, Capital Markets, Leasing, Finance, Legal, HR and PR/Marketing. Throughout his business career Mr. Petrović has supported Raiffeisen units in the Region both with his knowledge and expertise.

He served as Chairman of the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce, leading independent advocacy organization in Serbia, comprising of 200-member companies (US, EU, Serbia). He is a founder of the money market curve in RSD – Belibor&Beonia and key contributor to the development of the Forex market in Serbia. Mr. Petrovic is a Member of the Board of Directors of Association of Serbian Banks, Member of the Basketball Federation Managing Board, Member of the Presidency of the Serbian Association of Economists as well as member of Council of Employers at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade.

Along with his duties Mr. Petrovic continuously works on a wide range of issues (spanning from Labor, Tax, Payments, Securities, etc) in order to improve business climate in Serbia. He has published numerous opinions both in the area of business and finance.

Mr. Petrovic graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade.

He completed executive management program at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), Lausanne.

He holds ACI Dealing certificate, Paris.
