Mina Srećković is a Managing Associate and the Head of the Banking & Finance service line in Belgrade. With more than 13+ years of experience, Mina’s expertise is divided between primarily banking & finance, with additional expertise in PPPs and concessions and M&A.
Mina’s Banking & finance experience includes deep knowledge of regulatory and compliance matters involving specialized financial institutions, including banks, payment institutions, insurance and reinsurance companies and financial leasing companies. Additionally, Mina has extensive experience in transactional work, with a focus on foreign exchange regulations, project and acquisition finance with all security package structures and mergers & acquisitions, supporting clients in complex, high-value deals across multiple sectors. In addition to the aforementioned core practice areas, Mina has significant expertise in public-private partnerships (PPPs), particularly in the core infrastructure and utilities sectors, where she has advised on project structuring, concession and PPP arrangements.
Mina’s specialization in banking & finance law has afforded a unique insight into the intricacies of the financial sector from both a transactional and regulatory perspective, spanning across fintech, insurance and banking and finance issues, with a specific focus on regulatory compliance and licensing of institutions operating in the banking and financial sector in Serbia, public debt financing, foreign exchange regulations and cross border transactions, project and acquisition finance, non-performing loans, equity and debt securities transactions.
Mina has a deep understanding of public-private partnerships (PPPs), public debt financing, foreign exchange (FX) regulations, and cross-border transactions. Mina has been involved in almost all major PPP projects to date in Serbia.
Mina is ranked as a Rising Star Lawyer in Serbia by IFLR 1000 ranking for Corporate, M&A and Private Equity practice areas. She is also recognized for four years in a row as a Rising Star in Banking and Finance by the Legal 500.
