The DRÄXLMAIER Group supplies premium automobile manufacturers worldwide with complex wiring harness systems, central electrical and electronic components, exclusive interiors, and battery systems for electric mobility. The combination of core competencies in the interior, electrical, electronic and battery systems areas makes DRÄXLMAIER unique in the industry. The company thereby covers the entire process chain, from the initial idea, through the development and production process, and up to precisely in-sequence delivery of the products to the assembly lines of premium automobile manufacturers. The inventor of the customer-specific wiring harness, the DRÄXLMAIER Group develops pioneering wiring harness technology as well as electrical and electronic components, all directly in-house. These include multi-voltage and high-voltage wiring harness systems, battery management systems, and intelligent power distributors. DRÄXLMAIER is working on the future of emission-free mobility with its solution for low-voltage and high-voltage battery systems. In 2018. DRÄXLMAIER Group opened aResearch & Development center in Belgrade in which software and hardware engineers work on demanding projects in the field of electro mobility and interior lighting.

2. How do you perceive DRÄXLMAIER Group Serbia strategy for further growth on this market?

In 2017 we achieved a substantial growth that will continue in this year as well. Recently, we expanded our business in Serbia and established aresearch and development center in Belgrade. The first employees, software and hardware engineers, have already begun working on demanding projects in the field of electro mobility and interior lighting. With this step we have opened the door for the development of new technologies and investments in the sector of automotive electronics.

3. What is in your view the role of FIC and what are your expectations?

DRÄXLMAIER Group sees FIC as the voice of the business community in Serbia. Someone who is working on simplification of the rules, predictability of the business environment and harmonization with the EU legislation. From FIC, we expect it to continue advocating for further liberalization, endorsement of market economy principles and removing bureaucracy and other barriers for business.
