Daniel Šušnjar is Public, Regulatory Affairs and Privacy Director at Yettel d.o.o Beograd.
He has 17 years of professional experience and before joining Telenor he worked for Raiffeisen Investment, Privatization Agency of Serbia, Denning Finance and Caffico Trading Corporation in Budapest. Daniel has been with Telenor Group for more than 11 years at various managerial positions in Europe and Asia. He started his engagement at Telenor in Serbia as a Regulatory Affairs Manager, continued in Norway as a Regulatory Director, and also served in Myanmar as a Vice President – Head of Regulatory Affairs, before coming back to Serbia.
In his current position he is responsible for developing Government relations strategy and regulatory policy. On behalf of Telenor, he leads cooperation and coordination with external stakeholders such as Telecom Ministry, Regulator, PDP Commissioner, National Bank of Serbia, National Competition Authority, and other relevant governmental institutions. In addition he represents the company within business associations and manages collaboration within telco industry. Daniel is also responsible for ensuring company’s compliance with Personal Data Protection legislation, Group policies and procedures.
Daniel graduated from Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Public Administration and also obtained Master degree in International Business and Economics at the same university. He is a professional with substantial experience in the fields of Telecommunications, Financial Analyses, Company Valuation and Market Assessment.
Daniel has undergone number of trainings, mostly in leadership and managerial skills, and has knowledge of Serbian, English and Hungarian languages.
