FIC Regulatory Officer
FIC Regulatory Officer acts as a focal point for all committees’ activities, providing them day-to-day support, and follows legislative developments. FIC has Regulatory Director and Regulatory Associate who divide responsibilities on FIC committees.
Regulatory Officer is responsible for:
1. Secretarial function, including ensuring regular organization of the committees’ meetings in compliance with internal regulations and legal requirements and creating FIC position papers on specific topics based on conducted consultations, as well as launching discussions on specific regulatory issues (that fall out of scope of committees) and organize formulation of FIC positions;
2. Member awareness function, including sharing information about ongoing advocacy activities and collecting information on the issues to be considered by the committees, as well as incentivizing members’ participation in analysis of particular regulatory issues;
3. Public policy function, including screening of Government law-making activities, preparing background documents for dialogue with the Government, building relations with public administration and regulatory authorities, maintaining relationships with stakeholder community.
Other duties of the Regulatory Officer are coordination of drafting the White Book editions process, assisting in formulating specific activities of the association, writing reports on the views and suggestions of the members on how to improve advocacy work of the association, etc.
Ana Šljukić is employed as FIC Regulatory Officer since April 2026 and is in charge of the following committees: Financial Services, Legal, Infrastructure & Real-Estate and Telecommunications & Digital Economy.
Ana Šljukić lives in Belgrade, where she completed her bachelor’s degree in international relations at the Faculty of Political Sciences in 2022. She earned her master’s degree at the same faculty in 2025, specializing in elections and electoral campaigns.
In 2023, Ana completed an internship in consulting for civil society organizations and political actors, focusing on policy proposal writing and public opinion research. During the same year, she gained experience in an insurance company, working in the communications and public relations sector.
From January 2024 to May 2025, Ana worked as a Program Associate at the International Republican Institute (IRI), where she contributed to projects focused on regional economic topics, civil society, and political stakeholders. Her work included collaborating with local business associations in the agriculture and IT sectors, drafting policy documents on regional economic cooperation, strengthening civil society capacities, and conducting public opinion research.
Before joining FIC Serbia, Ana worked as an Executive Assistant at Telesol Group, a telecommunications company based in Amsterdam.
