Organization

The FIC is established as a non-profit business association of foreign investors. The bodies of the Council are the Assembly of the Council, the Board of Directors, the President and the Executive Director.

The Assembly of the Council gathers all members of the association and convenes its sessions at least once a year. The Assembly decides on questions of strategic relevance and determines the broad concept of the FIC future involvement. The Assembly elects the Board of Directors, with the mandate of two years. The President of the Board of Directors is the President of the FIC.

The President of the Board of Directors provides general leadership of the Council. He/she organizes the activities of the Council, and is entitled to legally represent the Council.

The Board of Directors proposes the long-terms plans, programs and specific targets for the FIC activities, which are approved by the Assembly. Additionally, the Board determines mid- term programs and development plans, decides on the organization and participation of the Council in public events, decides on the membership of the Council in other organizations, and approves the basic principles of the structure and operations of the committees of the Council.

The Specialized Working Committees and Ad Hoc Specialized Committees are established by decision of the Board of Directors.

The Executive Director is appointed by the Board of Directors and is responsible for organizing the day to day work of the Council, its bodies, committees and documentation. The Executive Director manages activities of the FIC Executive Office, which serves as a vehicle for implementation of FIC strategies and policies.
