FIC Business Operations Manager is responsible for:

  • Membership & Stakeholder Communication, including drafting letters and notes to FIC membership and stakeholders; preparing and sending correspondence to third parties; maintaining communication with the offices of the Board of Directors regarding all FIC matters and activities; assisting with the production of the Annual Report, White Book, FIC Guide, newsletters, and other publications;
  • Office and Event Management, involving oversight of document management systems for both electronic and paper records; coordinating internal and external meetings to ensure operational alignment; event planning and execution from strategic budgeting and logistics to on‑site implementation; and managing RSVPs and representation for staff and Board members to strengthen organizational visibility and stakeholder engagement;
  • Finance Management, including strategic monitoring of monthly budget expenditures, developing annual budget forecasts, and maintaining accurate records of membership fees and revenue streams; conducting financial analysis to support decision‑making; administering payroll, employee benefits, and insurance programs; and preparing executive‑level financial reports to guide leadership in achieving organizational goals;

Koviljka Nikolic currently serve as Business Operations Manager, overseeing office administration, finance management, board support, and stakeholder communication.

Born in Belgrade where she graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Analysis. After graduation in 2007, Koviljka has worked as a volunteer in Belgrade municipality Vracar where she was engaged in project “ID of Vracar municipality”. In 2011 she gained a Master degree in Business Performance Management at the University of Belgrade. Before joining the FIC in August 2012, Koviljka worked on a project “Support to Strengthening Policy Coordination in the Government of the Republic of Serbia” at General Secretariat of the Government of the Republic of Serbia where as Planning Consultant/Mentor she supported the respective line ministries’ staff to develop necessary skills to implement the proposed planning methodology applying “learning by doing” approach and helped ministries working groups to organize their work and develop realistic work-plans.
