Raiffeisen banka a.d. is a member of the Raiffeisen Banking Group, the leading banking group in Central and Eastern Europe. It began its operation in Serbia in 2001 and today, six years afterwards, it is the leader in the banking industry.

The offer of retail banking services is one of the most varied and comprehensive in the local banking market. The know-how provided by of Raiffeisenbanks in the region and the head office in Vienna is an invaluable asset when introducing new services. The bank has more than 460,000 clients in this sector, which is proof of confidence and professionalism.

Today, Raiffeisen banka is the leading bank in corporate banking and the Raiffeisen Banking Group is the largest creditor in Serbia. However, the structure of credits has changed significantly when compared to the year 2005. Namely, in order to offer even more competitive credit conditions to corporate clients, the Raiffeisen Banking Group enabled the Serbian economy cross-border financing through RIEEF, the financing institution of Raiffeisen International, as well as credit facilities directly from Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich AG (RZB), Vienna, as an additional crediting possibility, apart from the existing financing through Raiffeisen banka a.d. from Belgrade. Because of this, the volume of the local credit portfolio has changed, although the total volume of credits issued by the Raiffeisen Banking Group to corporates grew significantly in relation to the previous year and now exceeds one billion euros, 580 million euros of which have been issued through RIEEF and more than 100 million euros directly from RZB.

The Small Enterprises & Micro Division offers all-purpose credit facilities in order to follow up the dynamic needs of its clients. There are now more than 20,000 clients in this sector.

The Treasury & Investment Banking Division offers to its clients high-standard products and services in dealing with the foreign currency market and money market, brokerage and custody business and is considered leading in its field. The Dealing and Brokerage Department was the intermediary in some of the biggest and the most significant takeovers of local companies by renowned foreign international corporations.
