Upon signing the Protocol on Cooperation with the Faculty of Economics of the Belgrade University and the Faculty of Economics in Subotica, Vojvodjanska banka also signed the Protocol on Cooperation with the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac, envisaging realisation of numerous activities with the aim to support future economists.

Cooperation defined by this Protocol includes student internships, scholarships for students for master papers and doctoral thesis, mentoring programs, sponsorships and donations to programs of the Faculty of Economics, guest lectures of representatives from Vojvodjanska banka, student participation in case studies, organization of workshops and other activities.

“We in Vojvodjanska banka find that cooperation between the university and the economy and financial sector is extremely important for improving the overall educational system in our country, and we are therefore very pleased for signing the Protocol on Cooperation in Kragujevac today, after its signing with the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade and Novi Sad. In the spirit of Einstein's saying that education is what remains after you forget what you had learned in school, we believe that this initiative will contribute to the comprehensive education of the young generation that is entering the life and professional scene. Vojvodjanska banka is one of the systemic banks in Serbia and our experts will have the great pleasure to convey their knowledge to younger colleagues and we hope to thus contribute to the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac in achieving its scientific-educational mission” – said Velimir Babić, member of the Executive Board and Director of Credit Risk Management Division in Vojvodjanska banka.

“Guided by the fact that the only right recipe for success is the blend of theory and practice, as a Faculty we were pleased to accept the institutionalization of cooperation with one of the most important commercial banks in Serbia, Vojvodjanska banka. We observe cooperation through at least three levels: provision of practical knowledge to students by experts of the Bank, professional training of students who will directly in solving specific banking activities become closer to the practical level of knowledge of all that they are learning on modules in finance, banking and stock exchange operations, as well as joint activities which experts of Vojvodjanska banka will focus, together with the teaching staff of the Faculty of Economics, on accreditation of new modules in the field of electronic banking, i.e. digital economy” – stated the Dean of the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac, Prof. dr. Petar Veselinović.

The Protocol on Cooperation was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac, Prof. dr. Petar Veselinović, and Velimir Babić, member of the Executive Board and Director of Credit Risk Management Division on behalf of Vojvodjanska banka. The Protocol on Cooperation between the Faculty of Economics and Vojvodjanska banka has been concluded for an indefinite term.

As a responsible company and partner of community in which it operates, Vojvodjanska banka implements a number of projects to help different social categories, such as support to young people without parental care for employment and self-employment through the "Budi svoj" Project, then education of employees for using the sign language in Bank’s branches so that communication is adapted to deaf and hard of hearing persons, and many other activities.
