TC&IT Committee Elected Chairmen
On its meeting on November 25, the Telecom & IT Committee elected leadership. Jasmina Vignjevic from Telenor was elected as a Committee's President, while Vera Nikolic Dimic from Vip Mobile was elected as a Committee's Vice President. We therefore use this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to Jasmina and Vera for accepting the roles of Telecom and IT Committee Chairmen, thus committing themselves to two years of investing significant energy and efforts to the Committee's work.
Jasmina Vignjevic is a Governmental Affairs Manager at Telenor Serbia, where she's responsible for the design and implementation of stakeholder relations strategy, communication and correspondence with governmental institutions and international organization and also advising the top management and board members on corporate affairs issues of strategic importance. She is representing Telenor in Foreign Investors Council, American Chamber of Commerce, National Alliance for Local Economic Development and serves as a board member in the Nordic Business Alliance. Jasmina Vignjevic is in Telenor for seven years, where she previously assumed positions of Legal Affairs Manager and Acting Regulatory Manager. Jasmina is the author of the paper "Engaging the Private Sector in Business Environment. Reforms - Experience from Southeast Europe" presented at the donor's conference in Cairo "Reforming the Business Environment- from assessing problems to measuring results" and was regularly publishing articles on financial leasing and corporate governance in EuroMoney and local papers.
Vera Nikolic Dimic is for seven years now Head of Regulatory Affairs in Vip Mobile, where she's responsible for creation, implementation and maintaining of complete regulatory framework within the organization; managing overall relationship with other telecom operators in terms of Interconnection agreements, roaming agreements, leased line provisioning, wholesale business as well as business development opportunities; managing relationship with regulatory authority and relevant Ministries; developing a strategy to improve the regulatory environment; and overseeing the risk/benefit ratio for activities with a high revenue/cost impact for the company. She has been a head of the FIC T&IT Committee from 2009 to 2012. Her previous experience includes positions of Legal Consultant at Law firm CMS Reich Rohrwig Hasche Sigle, UN FAO and law firm Karanovic & Nikolic, as well as internship at Simons and Simons in London.
