Jasmina Vignjevic, Governmental Affairs Manager at Telenor Serbia graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade and was awarded with LLM degree in International Commercial Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Westminster, UK.
She has been with Telenor Serbia for more than nine years at different positions: Legal Affairs Manager, Acting Regulatory Affairs Manager and currently Governmental Affairs Manager. Before joining Telenor, Jasmina was with the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, on the position of Business Development Officer responsible for Financial Leasing, Factoring and Corporate Governance projects in Serbia and Montenegro design and implementation of Financial Leasing projects in Bolivia and Yemen. The main area of her work included advising governments of respective countries in developing legal framework for introduction of new financial instruments, but also providing training and consulting services in the areas of financial leasing, factoring and corporate governance to banks and companies.
She is responsible for managing governmental affairs in Telenor Serbia. Her current area of responsibility includes development of strategy for development of new services, E-Commerce and financial services being one of the main elements of it and implementation of stakeholder relations strategy and communication and correspondence with governmental institutions and international organization. She is advising the top management of Telenor and Telenor Banka and board members on corporate affairs issues of strategic importance. She is also representing Telenor in Foreign Investors Council, American Chamber of Commerce, National Alliance for Local Economic Development and serves as a chairwoman of the board of the Nordic Business Alliance.
Jasmina is the author of the paper "Engaging the Private Sector in Business Environment Reforms - Experience from Southeast Europe" presented at the donor's conference in Cairo "Reforming the Business Environment- from assessing problems to measuring results" and was regularly publishing articles on financial leasing and corporate governance (EuroMoney, local papers).
