Goran Pitic
Goran Pitić is the President of the BoD of Societe Generale Serbia. He is a member of the BoD of Company Metalac Holding, Gornji Milanovac. He is a full-time professor and Council President of the Faculty of Economics, Finance and Administration (FEFA).
Dr Pitić holds a PhD from the Faculty of Economics, Belgrade University. He also holds two MA degrees – from the Belgrade Faculty of Economics, and from the University of Toronto, Department of Economics. He specialized in economics (postgraduate program in Quantitative Development Economics) at the University of Warwick, Great Britain in 1991/92. He also received advanced training at the London School of Economics, and participated in a large number of specialized programs at universities in UK, France and USA, and attended courses at financial market institutes.
From October 2000 to March 2004, he held the position of the Minister of International Economic Relations in the first democratic Government of the Republic of Serbia.
President of the BoD of Serbian Banks Association, Member of the Presidency of the Serbian Association of Economists, the Serbian Association of Corporate Directors. He is member of the Foreign Investment Council, National counsel for technological development and innovation. He co-authored five books, and published many papers in national and foreign publications. He participated in a number of national and international conferences. He teaches Macroeconomics at FEFA.
Dr Pitić speaks three foreign languages (English, French and Spanish).
